Movie: Warm Bodies

Coming to theaters (in the US) on February 1, 2013 is the film adaptation of the book “Warm Bodies” by Isaac Marion. Believe it or not, I’m generally not a fan of zombie movies or zombie stories as I hate the futility and the never-changing zombie plot of those films. This film, at least, seems to be different. It has a different plot AND… dry wit and humor that make me chortle with glee. (The lead is also that kid from “About a Boy”, which is one of my favourite comedy films.)

The Innkeepers

The Innkeepers – Set in the venerable Yankee Pedlar Inn, which is about to shut its doors for good after over a century of service. Believed by many to be one of New England’s “most haunted hotels,” the last remaining employees, Claire and Luke are determined to uncover proof before it shuts down for good. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.
