In an effort to add to the ever-growing popularity of ghost hunting and other paranormal related television programming, SyFy is in the development stages of a show geared toward exploring haunted schools across the US.
The hourlong series from executive producers Mark Burnett and Seth Jarrett is called “School Spirits” and will tell supposedly true ghost stories in colleges and high schools across the country. The stories will be told in first person narratives through the testimonials of real students, teachers, parents and staff who have encountered the paranormal activity, Syfy said in a synopsis.
At least this one seems to deviate a bit from the norm.
The Witching Hour 
My college is “haunted”… there are a lot of ghost stories about the place– some well known and some not-so-well-known. Plus, my hubby swears he saw a ghost at his old high school! (It’s a great story I’ll have to write up sometime….)

Maybe you should keep an eye out on SyFy’s website and write in and tell your (his) story if they get closer to production.
