Better late than never is the motto I’m going with for this post. Three days ago (24 February) this blog passed it’s second anniversary. For my part I can honestly say I never imagined we’d last this long, but I’m glad that we have. This last year has seen two huge spikes in visitors on two separate occasions along with an increase in those following the blog. We have been referenced on a Wikipedia article (which has since been deleted) and been linked back by other bloggers and websites. We have a few changes in store for Year Three, not the least of which is a change in appearance, so we hope you’ll stick around and enjoy what we have to offer in the months to come.

I have been a long time reader/subscriber and will definitely keep following this site. I love the stories as there’s always some little place or event that someone hasn’t heard of. After reading it, I find myself off googling further info about some of the places, simply to find out more. The quality of writing is great with thoroughly enjoyable topics to read.
