Jadewik- Queen Mary

Jadewik, across the bay from the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. (October 13, 2010)

Jadewik is a middle-aged Civil Engineer who dabbles in a little of everything. She currently resides in Arizona with her husband and two kids. She served as a student ambassador to Germany, England, Danmark, and France through the People to People program in 1997. In 1998, Jadewik was the Arizona State High Jump champion for 4A high schools (though she fancies pole-vaulting over high-jump). She has volunteered to help organize the Southern Arizona Mathcounts and Arizona State Mathcounts competitions in 2009 and 2010. She was also involved in the Cub Scout program as a Bear leader. In her spare time, Jadewik enjoys sewing, drawing, travel, photography, gardening, writing, and playing the piano.

This “Jade”-of-all-Trades became interested in the paranormal by reading ghost stories. While she loves a good spooky story, she tries to remain skeptical of most aspects of the paranormal. She also loves Halloween– sometimes planning Halloween themes years in advance– and visiting supposedly haunted locations.

If you know of a haunted location or any interesting or quirky stories that you’d like Jadewik to write about, please leave a comment and she will see about writing it up.

    • Thank you for following up with the information. I wish I’d have seen this comment before it aired (I was busy with my newborn)– maybe they’ll re-run it so I can watch. =)

I had to close comments on the article. They were starting to take the story in a direction contrary to the intent of the original posting. I have updated the article to include some of the information that you have shared. Thank you!
